“Mark provided a comprehensive design to refurbish a 120-year-old home in McKinney, Tx.  The design included mixing new construction with the existing structure that was acceptable to us as the homeowner, but also had to be approved by the builder and the local historical district.  There were numerous challenges with this type of construction….without losing the historical integrity of the home.  The outside elevations were also challenging as the roof line became quite complex after adding a new tower to the front elevation to match the historical tower that was lost in a tornado in the 1940’s.  The new construction represents about 50% of the completed square footage.  There was also a complete floor addition to the existing one-story garage to create a studio for my wife’s business.  Mark’s design and design detail have been a huge benefit in this complex construction project….He was always available and made numerous revisions before the final plans were submitted for approval by the historical society.  I would highly recommend Mark for your project whether big or small.”
