Rockwall Residence

The clients who built this house had a bit of acreage out in Rockwall County, and they wanted it to look like a Texas Hill Country house.

At just over 3,300 s.f. of livable space all of the living spaces are on the main level with the exception of the game room.  The master suite is on the right side of the house as well as the guest bedroom, and the other two bedrooms are located on the left.  It has a formal dining room just off the foyer but the main family activities take place in the great room which contains the kitchen, family room, and breakfast room.

Some of the things that seem to stand out to people who have seen the house are the choice of electrical fixtures, the size of the island slab (it's one piece), and the wooden bath tub in the master bath.
