This was a remodel for a development company named Sixteen 92 on Green Terrace in North Dallas.  Typical of houses built in the late 60's it had a formal living room and dining room at the front of the house.  The foyer was a narrow hallway with a door into the formals.  A narrow doorway in the kitchen nook led you into the family room at the rear of the home.

We split the formal living/dining room in two and opened the foyer completely to eliminate the narrow hallway.  The study now has a private entry near the kitchen and garage.  The master bathroom is now completely private and the opening to the family room was widened to give more of a great room feel.
