The clients who built this house were going off of a couple of plans that they'd seen online.  We took some ideas from each house, like the traditional exterior and two story porch, and made extensive changes to the other areas. 

 

This house features the master bedroom on the first floor and three bedrooms upstairs.  The family room, dining room, and kitchen form an "L" which the owners like because they didn't want the kitchen to be completely open to the family room.  Adjoining the family room and separated by a large barn door is the couple's music room.

 

There is a wrap-around porch on the rear of the home from which you can enter the master bedroom and the kitchen.  It connects to a detached garage via a breezeway.  On the side of the home is a small porch, located off of the dining room, that overlooks the over-sized lot.
